Sullivan County through its Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains Lake Superior State Park, The Delaware and Hudson Canal Linear Park, Stone Arch Bridge Historical Park, Minisink Battleground Park, Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park, Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History and the Sullivan County Museum for its residents and visitors. Our parks and museums can provide you with a wide variety of recreational and historical opportunities. We hope you will take some time to visit one or all of our parks and museums.

County Group Picnic Permit

Sullivan County through its Parks and Recreation Department extends an invitation to its residents and visitors to rent picnic pavilions located at three (3) of its County Parks. Pavilions are available on a first come - first serve basis. Groups consisting of 25 to 200 people may reserve a covered picnic pavilion at Lake Superior State Park (2 pavilions available), Minisink Battleground Park and Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park. Each group picnic pavilion is furnished with 10 to 12 picnic tables and a group cooking grill. Permanent or temporary restroom facilities are located near all pavilions. A group picnic permit is also required for all groups consisting of 25 people or more who plan on using a county park.

To reserve a pavilion or set up for a group usage at any county park call (845) 807-0287 to confirm your desired date and request a group picnic permit application form.
