Wurtsboro, NY – Sullivan County’s Division of Public Works will conduct a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the proposed repairs to the Sullivan County Route 66/Hamilton Road (Orange County Route 48) Bridge over Shawangunk Kill in Burlingham.
The meeting will be held at the Mamakating Town Hall, 2948 Route 209, Wurtsboro, NY, on January 9, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain comments from interested parties and adjacent landowners related to proposed project alternatives and their associated environmental effects.
This project is funded through the BridgeNY program. Delta Engineers, Architects, & Land Surveyors, DPC, under contract with the County, is currently developing design alternatives for this project in cooperation with the NYS Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. The rehabilitation alternatives being considered involve bridge deck and beam replacement and miscellaneous abutment and pier work.
