Monticello, NY –Sullivan County’s Senior Games return this September, and while contestants are welcome, organizers are especially seeking volunteers to help put on the popular annual event.
A bevy of friendly competitive sports will be on tap at the Ted Stroebele Recreation Center in Monticello, and equally friendly and able folks are needed to assist with setup, organization, and breakdown.
Interested individuals are urged to attend the next Senior Games Committee meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at the Recreation Center on Jefferson Street, or contact the Office for the Aging at 845-807-0241 if you can’t make the meeting.
