Thank you for your interest in the 2020 Summer Youth Employment Program! This year’s projected employment will provide working opportunities for Sullivan County residents age 14 to 20 from July 6 through August 14 at a rate of $11.80 per hour.
At this time, Center for Workforce Development is in the process of restructuring the scope of summer work opportunities to meet the numerous challenges presented by COVID-19. The majority of our employment and training opportunities this coming season will be offered online or in a virtual setting, in which a reliable internet connection will be necessary for effective participation. All traditional summer employment undertakings will be significantly limited in size and scope, and must be carried out with consideration for strict social distancing and safety measures designed to keep people healthy.
Please fill out this Summer Youth Employment Application if you are interested in a paid working opportunity this summer. The document provided is fillable online, and you may submit it once completed to the Youth Programming Coordinator by email. The deadline for application submission has been extended into July, and our office will be processing applications in the order they are received. We will be reaching out by email or telephone to confirm your interest in participating and discuss the remainder of the process within 2 business days from the submission date. As always, please keep in mind, submission of a completed Summer Youth Employment Application does NOT guarantee employment.
