Commissioner, Senator to Join Upcoming Town Halls

Monticello, NY – Legislature Chairman Robert Doherty announces that Sullivan County Health & Family Services Commissioner Stephanie Brown and NYS Senator Jen Metzger will join Legislature Vice Chair Mike Brooks, County Manager Josh Potosek and Public Health Director Nancy McGraw for Live Town Halls this coming week.

Commissioner Brown will be the guest presenter at Monday’s Town Hall, while Senator Metzger will speak at Thursday’s Town Hall. Both programs will begin at 1 p.m.

“Stephanie is deeply vested in the health, safety and welfare of the people of this County, where she grew up,” Doherty stated. “She will share the latest interesting and useful info on coronavirus, while Jen will give us updates from the State level, and I encourage the public to submit questions for both of them to answer.”

Questions can be submitted via either email at sctownhall@sullivanny.us or private message to www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov by 7 a.m. the day of the particular Town Hall (May 18 and 21). They should be related to COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus) concerns and issues, phrased respectfully and apolitically.

The Town Halls will begin at 1 p.m. May 18 and 21 at www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov. The videos will also be made available to view afterwards on the Coronavirus info page on the County’s website, www.sullivanny.us.
