Eldred, NY – The Sullivan County Division of Public Works is closing a portion of County Road 33 (Eldred-Yulan Road) in the Town of Highland to replace County Bridge 198, located approximately 0.1 miles west of the intersection of CR 33 and State Route 55 (County Road 11). This section of road is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting 7 a.m. October 5, 2020, and will remain closed for approximately 2 weeks.
A detour route will utilize CR 11 (State Route 55), State Route 97, Mail Rd., Crawford Rd. and County Road 33 (Eldred-Yulan Road). A truck detour from County Road 22 to County Road 21 to State Route 97 and County Road 11 (State Route 55) will also be available.
