Next Sullivan County Town Halls on May 4 and 7

Monticello, NY – Legislature Chairman Robert Doherty announces that Legislature Vice Chair Mike Brooks, County Manager Josh Potosek and Public Health Director Nancy McGraw will be joined by Health & Family Services Commissioner Stephanie Brown to answer citizens’ questions during a Facebook Live Q&A session Monday, May 4, at 1 p.m.

“Though only in the commissioner position since January, Stephanie brings with her 15 years of professional nursing experience, much of that spent with Sullivan County,” Doherty stated. “She has provided responsive leadership of our largest Division in the middle of a true health crisis, and she has useful and informative insights to share.”

Monticello Central School District Board President Lori Orestano James will be guest presenter at Thursday’s Town Hall.

Questions for Monday’s Town Hall can be submitted via either email at sctownhall@sullivanny.us or private message to www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov by 7 a.m. May 4. They should be related to COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus) concerns and issues, phrased respectfully and apolitically.

The live Q&A will begin at 1 p.m. May 4 at www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov. The video will also be made available to view afterwards on the Coronavirus info page on the County’s website, www.sullivanny.us.
