WOODBOURNE: 1:00 pm – The Woodbourne Fire Company is sponsoring the Annual Veterans Day Parade on Route 42/55 (Main Street), Woodbourne. Line-up is at 12:00 pm and Step-off is at 1:00 pm.
Thursday, November 11th
BETHEL: 11:00 am – The Sgt. Andrew Brucher VFW Post 5499 will be conducting Veterans Day services at the Veterans Park in Kauneonga Lake, across from the Kauneonga Lake Fire House. They are pleased to announce that County Judge Jim Farrell will be the guest speaker. All veterans and the public are invited to attend, and are asked to arrive by 10:45 am, so services may begin promptly.
ELDRED: 11:00 am – The Tusten-Highland-Lumberland VFW Post 6427 and the Sylvan-Liebla American Legion Post 1363 will hold a Veterans Day service at Heroes Park in Eldred, in honor of all veterans. Following the service, refreshments will be served and they will have their annual raffle drawing.
MONTICELLO: 10:00 am – The Ruddick-Trowbridge American Legion Post 73, Bailey-Richmond VFW Post 9588, and Jewish War Veterans Jesse Brams Post 206 will hold a Veterans Day Service at the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello. The public is cordially invited to attend and masks are required in the Government Center, regardless of vaccination status.
NEVERSINK: 11:00 am – There will be a Flag Exchange Ceremony at the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, Route 55, Grahamsville. Boy Scout Troop 97, Cub Scout Troop 87, Girl Scouts Troop 314, and an Honor Guard of local veterans will be participating in the Ceremony. Following the Flag Exchange at the Cemetery, all are invited to the Neversink Town Hall for a brief flag exchange, wreath laying ceremony, as well as light refreshments.
SUMMITVILLE: 9:00 am – The Summitville Fire Department will have a Veterans Day Service outside their fire house, 3978 US Route 209, Summitville. Refreshments will be served.
WURTSBORO: 11:00 am - The American Legion Mamakating Post 1266 will hold Veterans Day Services at the Veterans Park, located on the corner of Sullivan Street & 3rd Street, Wurtsboro.
