REPURCHASE INFORMATION:
The properties contained on the foreclosure list are scheduled to be sold at public auction in September 2024. The Sullivan County Treasurer is offering a unique program to afford taxpayers one final opportunity regain ownership of their property by repurchasing it from the County of Sullivan.
For repurchases finalized on or before June 30, 2024, the repurchase price will be all of the delinquent property taxes, including the 2024 County/Town taxes and Village taxes (if applicable). No other penalties or fees will be due during this period. These repurchase terms will only be available through June 30, 2024.
If properties are not repurchased before July 1, 2024, the property will be turned over to the County’s auction company and the amount to repurchase property will be significantly higher.
The very last day to repurchase property from the County is August 23, 2024.
