Free Flu Shots and Info Offered at Upcoming Health & Wellness Days

Liberty, NY – Sullivan County Public Health Services invites everyone, especially families, to take advantage of one of four Health & Wellness Days, where free information about community resources– and flu shots – will be available.

“Getting an annual flu shot is very important to maintaining overall health for children, pregnant women, the elderly and anyone with a chronic health condition, and now’s the time to get it, before the flu season descends upon us,” Public Health Director Nancy McGraw urged. “Plus, our knowledgeable Public Health professionals will have useful information on a wide variety of services and programs available.”

Flu shots will be given as supplies last, and resources on car seats, nutrition, smoking cessation, early child development, emergency preparation, mental health, and substance abuse prevention will be offered.

  • September 28, 5-7 p.m. – St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 3277 State Route 42, South Fallsburg
