Monticello, NY – The public is cordially invited to attend a special ceremony in honor of POW/MIA Recognition Day, Friday, September 20 at 1 p.m. in the lobby of the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello.
The Keynote Speaker will be John Liddle, Sullivan County Deputy County Manager. John is retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During a two-decade career in the Navy, John served in many capacities, including service during Operation Enduring Freedom and completing his Navy career as Executive Assistant to the Commander of Navy Installations Command, establishing the Commander’s Action Group.
