Cannabis Industry Expert to Share Insights

Monticello, NY – Local village and town government officials are encouraged to sign up for an important seminar about the legalization of cannabis (marijuana) in New York State and the impacts thereof.

“Time is ticking for local leaders to decide whether or not to opt out of commercial cannabis sales in their respective municipalities,” notes Sullivan County Planning Commissioner Freda Eisenberg, whose team is coordinating the seminar. “That’s why we’ve invited David C. Holland, president of the NYC Cannabis Industry Association and a local attorney, to discuss this emerging field and its implications.”

The free seminar will be held at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre, 219 Main Street, Hurleyville on Wednesday, September 29 at 5:30 p.m.

Those who plan on attending are asked to RSVP Planner Kassondra Johnstone at planning@sullivanny.us or 845-807-0527.
