The Sullivan County Recruitment and Retention Task Force (www.facebook.com/joinsullivanfire) invites you to any one of a number of RECRUIT NY open houses on April 22 and 23.
“Our recruitment effort, ‘Join Sullivan Fire,’ is always looking for more people to take part,” affirms Sullivan County Fire Coordinator John Hauschild. “Local volunteer fire departments are in need of scene support personnel, interior firefighters, fire police, auxiliary members, apparatus operators and much more.”
To that end, Sullivan County fire departments are hosting Open Houses this weekend for anyone interested in the fire service, equipment and/or volunteering:
- Narrowsburg Fire Department – Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 203 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg
- Grahamsville Fire Department – Saturday, April 22, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 205 Main Street, Grahamsville
- Hurleyville Fire Department – Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 166 Main Street, Hurleyville
- Fallsburg Fire Department – Sunday, April 23, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., 10 Railroad Plaza, South Fallsburg
