Monticello, NY – The offices of Sullivan County’s Department of Real Property Tax Services will be closed to the public from Monday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 28, in order to allow office employees to take required training.

“The closure will last just three days, and my staff and I will still be checking emails during that time,” Real Property Tax Services Director Christopher Knapp noted. “If a personal visit is necessary, the adjacent Sullivan County Treasurer’s Office will be open during normal business hours. The public can also call them at 845-807-0200, since our phone number (807-0221) will transfer to them during the closure.”

Real Property Tax Services provides professional services to other County departments, assessors, local governments, school districts, real estate professionals, property owners, and the general public, in addition to maintaining County tax maps. More information is available at www.sullivanny.us/Departments/RealProperty.

Real Property operates under the authority of the County Treasurer’s Office. Both offices are located within the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello.
