Sullivan County Auctioning Surplus Vehicles and Equipment

Vehicles up for auction

Various vehicles are for sale in the annual Sullivan County Division of Public Works auction, running through November 21.

Monticello, NY – Bidders are welcome from now through November 21 on more than 35 items – including assorted pipes, equipment, cars, trucks, parts, a tractor and a grader – up for auction by the Sullivan County Division of Public Works (DPW).

“There’s something to interest any bargain-hunter,” says District 7 Legislator and Public Works Committee Chair Joe Perrello. “I invite everyone to take a look and make a bid.”

Bidding on all lots started at just $1, rising in increments (with a 10% buyer’s premium). Some items may be lightly used or in operable condition, but all are being sold as-is through Absolute Auctions and Realty, with a full catalog, including photos, at https://aarauctions.com/servlet/Search.do?auctionId=5055.

Live previews are available, by appointment only, on November 18 and 19 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Call John Schultz at 845-807-0304 to schedule.

The auction closes on November 21, and payment is due by Wednesday, November 24 at 1 p.m. All lots are subject to seller approval. Invoices will be sent following approval of sale. Pickup will be by appointment only on November 29, 30 and December 1 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. All pickups must be completed by Wednesday, December 1 at 2:30 p.m.
