Leave Government Center 7:45 am Arrive at Castle Point 9:00 am (approximate times)
Leave Castle Point at 2:00 pm Arrive at Government Center 3:30 pm (approximate times)
Pick up or drop off may be arranged at Bloomingburg Firehouse or Wurtsboro Park and Ride Lot
Albany
Leave Government Center 8:00 am Arrive at Albany 10:30 am (approximate times)
Leave Albany at 2:00 pm Arrive at Government Center 4:30 pm (approximate times)
Pick up or drop off may be arranged at the Woodbourne Firehouse.
NOTE: Veteran status [DD-214/discharge document] must be established before transportation can be provided. Contact Veteran Service Agency 845-807-0233 for assistance.
All wheelchair/scooter appointments must be called in to the Veterans Service Agency for van scheduling as soon as appointments are received to insure appropriate van availability.
All Veterans that do not meet the van at the Government Center must call in by 11:00 the day prior to travel to confirm that they will be going.
Home pickup requests must be supported by a letter from medical provider stating home pickup is necessary. Medical request letters are good for up to one year.
Home pickup clients must be ready by 6:30am.
When making medical center appointments notify them you are using county transportation to ensure appointments between arrival and departure times. Please try not to schedule appointments after 1:00pm.
