Naturalization Ceremony

The County Clerk’s Office plays an important role in the naturalizing of new citizens in Sullivan County. Several times each year, Sullivan County Clerk Russell Reeves is honored with the role of administering the Oath of Allegiance to new citizens who then gain the rights and privileges afforded to most Americans by birth.

Naturalization Records

The Sullivan County Clerk's Office houses naturalization records c. 1800-1992. A search of these records is available through our office. The fee is $5 for every two years searched.

You may also search Naturalization Records online. An index to citizenship records c. 1800-1992 is available, including Declarations of Intention, Oaths of Allegiance, Petitions, Affidavits and register entries regarding all applications for naturalization filed in Sullivan County.
