The Town of Lumberland is in the process of updating its townwide comprehensive plan. This plan is meant to serve as a blueprint for local officials, residents and developers as the Town of Lumberland grows over the course of the next 5 to 10 years.
Input for the plan was gathered from the community via a community survey and several public focus group meetings held during the Spring of 2006.
The Town of Lumberland Town Board held a public hearing on August 27, 2008. The next steps are for the Town Board to complete the SEQR and vote to adopt the document. To view a working draft of the Town of Lumberland Comprehensive Plan, click here.
